Dirt Devil Central Vac
This central vacuum system is new to us and the rug attachments for the rug are horrible. if you don't bend over and hold it just right it snags and sticks and generally won't budge until you bend over some more and get just the right angle on it. It's called the "rug rat" and does a terrible job. Is there a different attachment that the previous owner conveniently forgot to tell us was missing? Would love to use it as our Shark takes up closet space but is a GREAT vacuum cleaner.
PS it took me some time just to find out where the bag goes. LOL It's a real adventure finding all these unmarked switches and buttons on our coach.

Hi, we have this unit in our 2007 Fleetwood. I just asked my wife and said that she has no problems with it. Perhaps you're missing an attachment like you said.

No problems here either, mine came with a beater, dust, and tube attachment. Don’t understand won’t budge, it will suck and hold on to throw rugs just put you foot on one end.

If you have good suction then the issue may be the beater. You can get a new one on Amazon for $39.

I gave up on the Dirt Devil and bought a Dyson V-6. Works great even with all the cat fur I get from 6 cats.

My central vac almost sucks too much. Much better than a upright you have to store. I've been reusing the same bag for 3+years now. Cut one end off the bag and use a wide chip clip.

Ours works as well, or better than our Dyson. It's not a replacement for a "real" vacuum, but overall we are satisfied.

We like our central vac Dirt Devil. Works much better than the home upright jobs. If the suction is too strong use the slide valve near the top bend of the vac tube and open the valve to reduce the suction.
