I have 2009 the front fiberglass cap has come loose from the front of the main frame rails. It has 2 clips with hole so it can adhere to the cap with the epoxy flowing through the holes, will hold better. Have had it to General RV Canton OH, their statement is we don't know what kind of epoxy to use? So they wouldn't fix it, now it is out of Warrenty and I will just glass it in. Clyde at General RV, wanted to drill a hole through the cap and put a bolt in. I said no. Does anybody else have these kind of problems with other dealers. I could write a book on this dealer. Or has any body checked theirs, just raise from hood and look down to frame.

My cap is fiberglass. There are several points where there are brckets fiberglassed into the cap, then bolted on. You may be able to roughen the inside surface of te cap, then using 8" square fiberglass cloth & a bracket that is prefitted & drilled bonded to the cap. I would apply 2-3 overlapping layers. Check for strength after the resin dries & if needed add fiberglass mesh which is stronger than the cloth over top for added strength. Hopefully you can get this fixed without a lot more headaches.
