Discovery 40e 2014 refrigerator?

Here is a stupid question. we have had the coach out three times since June. I always wipe out the refrigerator after every trip. However it was time to give it a good bath... How the heck do you get the drawers out of the side by side. I went to clean the it out and you can't remove the drawers.

My DW says that she is unable to remove the drawers, due to the door not opening wide enough. She just cleans the best she can with the drawers pulled out, just can't remove.

I wasn't happy about it. It's kind of disgusting when you think about it. They have to have some sort of trick...remove the handle or something? I will call today if they are open.

Well ... how about a better description like "I can't remove the drawers because" ....

The doors don't open all the way ?
and they don't open all the way because?
the doors hit the?
the drawers seem to have a locked position?

If yours is like the pictures here:
New 2014 Fleetwood RV Discovery 40E Motor Home Class A - Diesel at General RV | Wixom, MI | #IT99181

It looks like the right door handle might be limiting the swing.

If that's the case, you could try the installation manual for the reefer ... usually available as a download. Often, it's actually easy to remove the handles. My Whirlpool handles come off by lifting the handle straight up ... the rear of the handle has slots that fit over pins in the door face.

Discovery 40e 2014 refrigerator?

DW and I started looking at this again Tonight and thinking about door handle removal. I all of a sudden had the duh moment, I think you can open the fridge door with enough clearance, when you have your slide in. Didn't want to actually try this tonight, but I pretty sure it will give you the clearance needed to open the door farther and remove drawers from fridge side.

Guess what? It opens all the way when the wall is in, and then the drawers come out. I went up the to the coach today just to see.
