Wonder if any of you can corroborate an issue we have with our new 2007 Pace Arrow. It looks like the factory installed 2 right-side external mirrors.
The mirrors attach to mounting arms that protrude from either side of the coach. The attachment points are offset from the vertical center line of the mirror, in both cases. On both driver and passenger sides, the arm attaches to the mirror left of the vertical center line. This means that, on the driver's side, the mirror sits immediately next to the A pillar, with no visual gap, creating a 16" blind spot.
It may sound hard to believe, but with all of the items on my PDI checklist, I never noticed the problem until I was over a hundred miles from the dealer.
I've looked at photos on dealer sites, and amazingly, I've found other examples of Pace Arrows with reversed driver side mirrors - but also some with the correct mirror configuration.
I'm playing phone tag with Fleetwood Customer Service, but before I connect with them, just wondering if any of you have come across this problem before (I did a search but came up empty)?
Thanks!

I have a 2004 Pace Arrow and it also has the blind spot due to the pillar. Not too long after I purchased the mh (used) I checked around abit to find out if another mirror was available that I might change it out. But I had little luck.
I never paid attention that the mirrors are both right-side mirrors, good point. I'll look a little closer.
Hopefully you have better luck then I did. I'm still interested in a different mirror or at least a way that could fix the problem. Keep us posted on here if you find out something.

My issue is the reflection on the glass that makes it impossible to see the mirror at certain times. Has anyone solved that issue?

I just looked at the 2004 Pace in the site next to us and it has a proper set - a right and a left.

r2dillon... I cured the problem with reflection in the drivers side mirror with a piece of black flexible plastic that I attached to the left windshield post. It's kinda hard to explain so I've posted some photos of it. However, it takes a day or so to get them approved on this web site. I'll check later today or tomorrow and once they're approved I'll repost here with the photos.

The reflection issue I am having is the inside glass glaring so that I can not look through the glare and see the mirror. Does the black plastic help that issue?

Yes, the plastic takes care of the reflection problem.
Anyway, here are the pictures I took so you can see what I'm taking about.
This is what it looks like from the side view taken from the center of the dash.
This is the close up.
I'm sitting in the drivers seat when I took this photo and you'll notice the angle makes the plastic disappear so not to bother your view forward or at an angle.
Also looking more forward to also show it does'nt affect your forward view.
By the way I got this idea from a Fleetwood Revolution "Diesel" motorhome at a dealers that I was looking at a year or so ago. It looked like a factory installation, but I'm not sure. It had them on both sides. I didn't see the need for the passenger side mirror.

I was camping this past weekend and saw a 2006 and talked with a fellow who had just purchased a new pace arrow. He showed me his mirrors and sure enough passenger side mirror on both sides. He had not notified anyone as he just noticed it homself. Once you notice it it is obvious. My 04 Pace arrow has the correct mirrors it just want run in the rain and the leveling jacks don't work. No one can seem to fix the problems. I would rather have the wrong mirrors.

Check the Workhorse forum; I think there are several threads there about engine problems when driving in the rain.
I've also been frustrated with the leveler system in my 2004 Pace Arrow. It would lose stability overnignt; often the right rear jack would lift an inch or more. Finally got PowerGear and Fleetwood to replace the valves. It seems better now, but I've only used it once since the last valve was replaced. What problems are you having?

I've had the same problem with my jacks as 'tallguy'. But I'm not sure if it lifted during the night or that it just didn't go down all the way in the first place. When it happens I can usually re-level and all's well after that.
I've also had problems with them not restoring all the way. About every other time I use them I spray the exposed jack with WD-40 and it seems to help with this problem.

CrowCO, just found this website so I might be late in responding. On my 2004 the driver's door post blocks one-third of the mirror. I complained to Fleetwood with no luck, then filed a complaint with the Nat. High. Trans. Safety Admin.,as I believe it to be a safety issues needing recall. Velvac mirrors had not solutions, but then the Fleetwood area rep suggested the mirror configuration that you have. I thought it was a good idea until I realized the large blind spot it created so had them reinstall the correct left mirror as the two right side mirrors made it more dangerous. I still think using only two-thirds of a mirror is also dangerous.

Hi Bob, I just had one of my jacks replaced (under warranty) for the same reason. Also, the service manager told me not to use oil or oil based lube (like WD-40) on the jack piston as it collects dirt/dust. He suggested I use a silicone spray.
