Drop Down Bed Light Switch Not Working

I recently upgraded from a 97 Bounder to 11 Terra and had a lighting question. When the overhead bed is down, there are two light fixtures I can't seem to get to work. I've tried using bulbs I know work and trying the switch on the fixture itself but no dice. Is there a switch somewhere else that needs to be on?

My dropdown bed has 2 lights above it controlled by wall switch next to the bed, close to the up/down control. That light switch is then controlled by my wall switch for rest of the ceiling lights. If my ceiling lights are off, I can't use the lights over the bed. Your ceilings lights might need to be on for the switch on your fixture to work.

My 2015 Fleetwood Terra SE 33s has an interlock switch so the lights only work when down.
Check for that

My up/down control is located by the entry door with fluid, battery and front slide controls. I could not find a switch, outside the one on the fixture, near the bed or on the main control panel. I will check both the main light switch and make sure the bed is all the way down this evening and report back. Thanks for the help/suggestions.

Thanks all. The lights are tied to the bed being lowered to the right height. I was stopping when the bed touched the top of the front seats thinking it was down properly. I reclined the seats so they were out of the way of the bed and lowered it further and they came on. I also double checked to see if they were tied to the main light switch but they remained on with it off.

Again, thanks all.

Smile Lights above drop down bed

I too have a 2011 Terra and could not figure out why the lights above the bed would not come on, THANKS for the suggestion. I will try it next time I go inside the motor home and lower the bed.
