Electrical bay wet after driving through rain

I noticed after we returned from a recent trip that our electrical bay was very wet. I keep some rags in there to keep the electrical cord somewhat clean as I reel it in and they were soaked. There is only sponge material in the opening where the power cord runs. Has anyone else run into this? BTw, this is on a 2011 Providence.

Thanks in advance,
Paul

I had that issue. I taped paper towel around the inside of the door to determine where the water was coming in. Closed the door and sprayed with a hose to simulate rain. It was leaking at the top seal which did not line up as it should have with the top inside of the door. The fix was to lower the rubber seal with sheet metal and install a new seal. I used pop rivets to secure the new sheet metal to the old. I also chalked the top of the electric bay on the inside above the door. That was well over a year ago and all is working fine.

ByeThe Way, Thanks for the reply. Sorry for not replying sooner. I am afraid the RV has been stored a while due to schedule. I will give this a try. Thanks again!
