engine dog house removal for 2011 bounder

I have a 2011 Fleetwood Bounder class A motorhome and am having diffuculty removing the engine access cover inside the motorhome, any suggestions?

Welcome to IRV2. The dog house on my Bounder has three screws that are buried in the carpet. You have to look carefully to find them.
