Entertainment Cabinet

On our 2019 Bounder 35P the Sat TV receivers and DVD player and Video selector box are all in a cabinet in bedroom (rear of coach). The door to the cabinet is the bedroom flat screen TV.
When watching Sat TV in the living area (front of coach) I have to get up and walk to the bedroom with the IR remote control to change the channel or otherwise direct the Sat receiver. The cabinet door with TV has to be open for receiver to receive the IR signal!
I am not familiar with most Fleetwood modelsi, is this configuration with entertainment cabinet so far removed from the main TV?
Anybody have any work around. The extra exercise I get is probably not hurting me! BUT, we normally watch recorded programs so we can speed thru advertisements and that gets ridicules trying to do that!!

What sat receiver do you have? I have Dish Wally and it has an RF remote so this is not a problem.
There are IR repeaters that you can buy/install to resolve the problem if you have an IR remote.
Yes it is a common problem.

Computerguy,
Thanx for you info. The coach came with two Wallys and a Dish TV only King Dome. I have had DirTV in my coaches for nearly 10 years and did not want to switch to Dish so I replaced the dome with a DirTV compatible King Dome and two DirTV receivers (a HR23 DVR and a H21 receiver). Pretty much a one for one swap. I do have a IR DirTV remote which worked well in our previous coach but not so here. I assume the flat screen so close in front of the receivers is causing the problem.

Can you give me some info about the IR repeaters or a link where I can find more info?
Thanx for you input.
