Came across a deal on a 2014 expedition 40x. It has 14k miles and its the grey, black, and maroon color scheme (which I love), and it has the black interior which I love as well.

I know the excursions pretty well and I'm assuming the Expeditions are just a little nicer/bigger. Anyone have any known issues out there? I called Fleetwood with the vin and there's no open recalls and there weren't any recalls previously either.

Since I like Fleetwood and I had an excursion from the same year, I'm sure everything will look familiar. So I don't need any help finding where stuff is ... but I just wanted to know if there's anything that I should watch out for.

I like the front kitchen floor plan. Very residential feeling. If entertaining outside nice to have kitchen nearer door and not having to cross living room area.

We had an 08 Expedition 36D and thought it was a well made coach. We had zero problems with the Fleetwood part of the coach. We did have issues with the Dometic RV refrigerator and the Quikee steps. We traded last year and stayed in the Fleetwood family because of the bang for the buck. No regrets.

I have a '15 Expedition 40X. Great rig! We've traveled throughout the west and pacific northwest extensively and what a great rig! Only issue was the step stopped working. Few other issues were mine. The Indian and not the arrow, if you know what I mean!

Ours is the exact color scheme and we love it as well. Many compliments most everywhere we go. I was concerned about the power compared to a Discovery but I have no issue with it and I do pull a toad, and a heavy boat in the summer.
FYI, we have been rv'ers for quite a while! We previously had a 32' gasser and love it, but no comparison to this rig.
