Expedition Remote Front Door Lock quit

2015 Expedition - One minute the remote front door lock worked great, the next it doesn't. Tried both remotes on our key chains, no joy. I can hear one or two relays behind the dash operating when I use the remote, but whatever actuates the lock in the door does not work.

Couldn't find any wires leading into the door, but surely I have missed something. Any thoughts? I know I can take it to my dealer but then I am waiting etc., easier to just do it myself if I can figure the system out.

The same wire bundle that operates the mirrors run to the door locks. Check out Utube there should be a trouble shooting, repair video.
I just noticed your under warranty, I'd bring it in.

Yes I am under warranty but am so disgusted with the state of the RV industry towards Quality I just want to see if I can fix it and be on my way.

I swore that I would never buy another brand new motorhome and am paying the price for giving Fleetwood my hard earned money with the fantasy that the quality of assembly would be any better than it was the last time I bought a new coach. I realize the other brands are by and large just as bad, it just strikes me odd that we all put up with it. God forbid the Japanese start building coaches.

Look for two brass probes/contacts in the hinge side door frame. Polish those to see if it helps.

If you are anywhere near Decatur, IN, get a factory service appointment. Those folks do a great job!

Great advice about the two brass contacts. Had voltage on the coach side, took a pencil eraser and cleaned them both a Bingo. Thanks to all.
