exterior outlets 93 bounder 34J

Hi,

Wondering if anyone has had a problem with losing 110v power to just the outside outlets. I have one set on each side and one for the refrig in the access area. Only lost power to these three, no breakers tripped. Suspect a broken wire someplace. Happened just two weeks ago while camping. Worked night before but not in morning. Checked all three outlets and no lose or broken wires and no power coming into them. Of course you cant see the wiring runs and I suspect a broken wire someplace (Mouse chew?)

Only one 110v breaker labeled "General" seems to feed all the outlets. Suspect they all run in succession with wires running from one outlet to the next. Anyone have a wiring diagram? Will trying calling Fleetwood and begging also

Thanks
Dave

Dave ...I am not sure if this is true about your rig...but a ton of the 110v outlets in my Bounder seem to pass thru a GFI switch ... I constantly am resetting my GFI...especially the one in the bathroom.

GFI reset may be on a inside one if not found on a outside one.

On our Hitchhiker there was one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen. It was the bathroom that kept giving me trouble.

Dave... I am thinking that you most likely have two GFI outlets like my Bounder has.... Bathroom sink area and Kitchen.... next to stove

gfi

Okay, color me stupid! Looked when I got home and sure enough one gfi in bathroom and it was tripped. A lifetime ago I was a mechanical/electrical engineer and I have wired these in my own home the same way. In my defense though the gfi was upside down, under the cabinet and all brown, not like the ones today with the nice red and white resets.

Just goes to show me that the most obvious solution is usually still it.
Ha! Thanks all. That's what I love about these forums-you can be go into brain freeze and get the solution from others that have already been through it.

Thanks
Dave

Silly guy... almost 100% of us as Bounder owners have had a similar issue as yourself. That bathroom GFI is "the devil" and yes it is brown and is not hard to find....I am smiling. The fact that it is hooked to many obscure outlets not even remotely near it is the part that has always baffled me....I am in the process of mapping the circuit so I can see what other 120V things are on it...like my frig.
