Feedback on Flair 30U?
I recently looked at the Flair 30U. Loved the king bed, two air conditioners and a number of things about this unit. Did not love the sharp tracks for the shower door and the lack of shower shoulder room.
Here is a 2016 which is a bit different than the 2017 I looked at.
New 2016 Fleetwood RV Flair 30U Motor Home Class A at General RV | North Canton, OH | #134332
The 2017 I saw has a different dinette than this one. The dinette in the 2017 was not comfortable as there was too much angle to the back and no thigh support. Also the 2017 I saw has a oven. I like this one better as it has just the cook top since we don't use the oven. Here is the one I looked at is the 2017.

We have the 2016 Flair 31W. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase.
We caught a few things in the walk through and a few after that were promptly fixed under warranty by the dealership. Fleetwood and the dealer have been very responsive and none of these things have affected us on the road trips we've been on.
The couch and dinette were similar to the other 2016 Flairs we looked at, and while not as plush as more expensive units, are comfortable enough for us. Ours has the queen size bed but it's a real queen so even at 6' 3" it's fine. The shower is a little tight but no worse than other units in the price range we looked at.
We have the microwave/convection oven and three burner cooktop. The counter space is nice and so far everything has worked without a hitch. Longest trip we took was 800 miles to Tucson and back and the rest have been no more that 250 -500 round trip.
I flat tow a Chevy Sonic with a blue ox baseplate and tow bar.
We only have one A/C, which may sound nuts since we live in Vegas but the trade off was cost and we aren't planning on trips to hot locations in the summer. Overall, it seems to cool fine until you get into the higher temps and/or higher humidity where the AC has too work real hard to catch up. With the exception of the Tucson trip we plan to head out to cooler places in the summer months. We do a lot of camping like trips to the mountain regions so it works out for us. Many of these have hook ups but we've done a 3 day boondocking trip where we ran the generator a bit each day.
Since it is our first RV we traded off a few comforts like an inverter/50 amp system/2 ac's for cost savings since we really couldn't guarantee we'd use it like we thought we would.
Not sure if this helps but I like my Flair and it meets our needs. The few issues that I mentioned haven't caused us any grief on trips and we'll be heading for a few days on our next one soon.

Thanks Tom! Really appreciate your taking the time to provide a review. Glad to hear the initial quality out of the gate was pretty good and that the single ducted AC can cool such a long coach. The 30U had two roof airs so I'm really surprised that yours which is longer only had one but maybe that is an option.

Don't get me wrong. It would really be nice to have 2 a/c's. Looked at a few other models since they didn't have a 2 a/c Flair on the lot but decided if i was going to go that route I'd get a Bounder. I just didn't really need that for what we planned to use the RV for at this time so couldn't justify the extra money until I was sure we'd use it more than just a few times a year. We used to tent camp a lot so this was a big step for us as it was. Some people say buy the most you want but it's our first RV and we wanted to see how much we really would use it and this seemed to fit the bill. It has everything we need and is pretty comfortable. Maybe in a few years I'll trade up.
Did some playing around in the backyard where I keep it parked on a concrete pad. Up to 103 (when there's no humidity to speak of)if it's cloudy or you're in the shade, you can keep it comfortable with a few small box fans when it's the hottest time of day. If the sun's on it all day, pulling the big slide in makes a big difference. Add humidity and temps above that (like the week of above 110 we had a few weeks ago) and all bets are off. We don't even use the pool after 2:00 on days like that.
Left Tucson in the mid 100's last month after the first monsoon of the year (it was a family visit) and with the humidity there were a couple warm hours a day. A/C worked pretty hard to keep up but used fans to keep the air moving and that helped. Ran the genny all the way home to keep the coach cool driving through the desert and it was in the mid and higher 100's .
Point one is we did have a few issues like most folks do, none ruined any of our trips and so far service has been good and timely and Fleetwood and the dealer have been great. I'd definitely buy it again and will probably look at Fleetwood down the road if we decide to go bigger. They are building a service center in Mesquite NV which is an hour away so there's that too.
Point two is that I can't speak for everyone as I've seen some negative comments about other models, but so far my wife and I are pretty happy with our Flair. But to be honest, we do plan only on mountain trips and Northern routes with no more going South until September!

Thanks! Your input has been enormously helpful. This would be our 2nd RV. Our first one is still going strong but I've been hankering after a king sized bed. Glad to hear the AC has been doing OK. I was worried about the ducted AC.

The slide system for the main slide is a Power Gear. Some models have the kitchen in the slide. The 31W and 31B do not, but the 30 U does. Others have the reefer on the slide. Depends on the model.

Several of the 2016 and 2017's list dual a/c with a 5.5 kw generator in both the 31w, 31b and 30u models. Here's a sticker image: http://i1.imagesrv.com/3/2321/docs/2321_13990.pdf
I have to assume they are 50 amp and some of the pics of the electrical cords look like a 50 amp set up. The dual a/c with 5.5 generator option is listed on the build and price your own pages on the Flair homepage.

for what its worth I have a 2013 storm 32BH with a single A/C which only requires 30A svc. We were just in Dacatur,IN last week and it was plenty warm, mid 90's with humidity, and the single unit kept us nice and cool. Now there were only two of us, more bodies more heat. There were many units at the FW svc center that needed 50AMP so I moved off the pole I was on which had an open 50amp slot so another unit that needed 50amp could have a/c and went to another that only had a 30amp slot left on the pole. In my mind I would rather only need the 30amp as opposed to 50amp only because it gives one more options especially in some of the older parks. Sidenote; a fellow that was there the same time as us in a 31 Terra was having issues with his driver side slide bending. It had the kitchen and refrigerator on it. Mine has the frig on the passenger side so less weight on the slide side.

I have a “classic” 34’ Flair that has dual A/C's with 30amp service and you can run both AC's at the same time and even run the microwave. The energy management system will sense the load potential and turn off the AC's (SHED) so you can use the microwave or run both AC's but not allow both to engage the compressor at the same time. It’s a great feature.
