I have a 2009 Fiesta bought a year ago. Love the rig but I feel the ride is too rough. Did the tire pressure adjustment thing but only helped a little. Looking at getting new heavy duty shocks. Seems everyone recommends Koni FSD but an article I read said RoadKing has one out that is even better and makes for a smoother ride. Anyone used the Roadking?

I have a 05 Fiesta on a 04 Ford F53 chassis. It's a truck chassis so it will never ride like a luxury car. To help it, keep the tires at a minimum, 70 front, 80 rear. Drives and handles better too. Keep weight up front, minimal in rear. Grease and oil all the front suspension/steering joints. Some tires ride better, I have Hankooks. You may have FSDs shocks already, check. Don't carry much water.
Look for smoother roads, if possible.
Also add more caster 1-2 Degrees for much improved steering.
Put sway bars in the other hole to reduce sway/lean.
Lastly speeding a lot on fixes is not the solution.
And after a while you'll just get used to it.

What is the length of you coaches. My 1 st coach was 27 feet, road tough. Our 30, 33 and now 35 foot coach and last 3 on Ford chassis ride very good for gas/Ford units. I added safe-T-Plus and helps a lot. Koni shocks and rear trac Bar (2006 and up F53 chaais has front trac Bar by Ford) also help. Air pressure most important. Took coach loaded to Piolt put on the CAT scale. found I had 15 lbs to much air in all 6 tires. Ford chassis is an RV chassis with some Ford parts.

I have the same problem with my 05 Southwind. Had the Sumo springs installed on the front last fall, they helped but not much.... As of today I ordered the Koni FSD's. Hopefully from what I read here they should help.

Personally, I would install the Koni FSD's as they've been around for a while and have a proven track record as evidenced by the many posts of folks who have them and are very satisfied with their performance, including myself.

Hopefully you'll get some feedback from someone with the Road King shocks on their coach.

Good luck with your choice
