Good Morning All,
Well, I finally got to see the Revolution that I have been contemplating purchasing. The owner brought it back to New England from its winter home in Florida and I got my first look at it. IT IS GORGEOUS!!!! I love everything about it... The floor plan is perfect and the interior as well as the exterior is in great shape. I found what the inspector that I engaged in Florida was referring to and it is a little spot above the main slide that has some buckly wall paper. It is perfectly dry now and I climbed up and down a ladder and ran my hands all over the interior and exterior of the coach. No other spots of rippling or buckling. I borrowed a moisture meter and found no measurable trace of moisture in the walls where the inspector found it. The owner is taking the coach to a freightliner place on Monday to have a certified Cat mechanic look over the engine and I will get his report in writing. The owner has assured me that he will make everything right with this unit before we take possession.
Come to find out, the coach also has custom made windshield covers as well as the matching door, driver and passenger window covers and he will be including all of the tire covers. He is also including a couple of boxes of miscellaneous spare parts, filters, tools, etc. And he has replaced the front tires, all the batteries, all filters, fluids, etc withing the last 2 months. The back tires look good but I will consider changing them within the next year. All in all, very little that we will need to do except load up our stuff and start looking for destinations.
I cannot believe what immaculate shape the coach is in. He admits that he is rather anal about the upkeep and he hates to give it up but he is glad that someone like myself is so excited and happy about owning such a gem.
Now, I am keeping my fingers crossed about the engine check-up...
I will post pics as soon as everything is finalized, then I hope to hit the road...
Respectfully,
Faith In Cloudy (yet warmer)Massachusetts
