Flair 1993 diesel brake issue

Does anyone have any information on the Power Brake Booster on my 1993 Fleetwood Flair 32 ft on an Oshkosh Chassis. I need to replace it and have no information,

Dan thank you very much .
Tim knows more about braking than anyone I have ever spoken with before. He spent half an hour on the phone helping resolve the problem.

He had a number of things to test and said he did not think it was the Booster causing a soft Brake Pedal. He spent 20 minuets on the phone discussing the problem.
Most "so called" experts run out of knowledge in about 5 minuets .

Dan here is the story ! I sold my 1993 Fleetwood Flair 32 foot, 6.5 V8 Chevy Diesel to some folks from New Zealand, about 7 years ago. They stayed with us while the financing was going through, then shipped it back to NZ, and as with RV folks, we became friends.
Now they are at the end of a five month world tour paid for with Money they have saved from full timing in the Flair and renting out their Home.
Soooooo, they are once again staying with us on their last stop before heading back to NZ.
In the course of our conversations he told me about a problem he was having with soft brakes. He was also a mechanic back in NZ so had done EVERYTHING trying to get a firm pedal all to no avail. Then came your information about Tim.
Our friend called Tim who spent at least 20 plus minuets with Murray going through the complete brake system, part by part, eliminating all the issues and coming up with things to check when they return to NZ.
Not once did Tim try and sell him a booster to try. In fact Tim said he did not think it is the booster causing the soft brake condition.
Tim is an expert in every sense of the word. Thank you for your suggestion.

Chuck Sanford

Glad to hear it. .
I had a soft pedal issue, but it was from "a replacement master cylinder" that was close, but not exact. Mine were leaking, to I replaced them with a "suitable replacement" once Tim rebuilt my OEM master cylinders, I replaced them and brakes are now back to good pedal feel. I suspect the bore diameter is slightly different.
it was a workable replacement , but not exact.
I was very happy Tim was able to rebuild them.
Take care glad to hear it's heading in the right direction.
Dan. :-)

Hi Dan,
We are on all this stuff,
Re sleeved Master Cylinder also a new master cylinder with original bore size.
All new flex hoses, new brake fluid.
Rebuilt Calipers.
The only thing that we haven't tried is Divine Intervention !
When he gets back to New Zealand
I'm sure he will try that !
