After doing some 'googling' I did find that Fleetwood did have some problems with slide leaks. Not in just the Bounder that we have. We have a 2006 Bounder 32W.

We are in Texas for the winter and we had a significant amount of rainfall the other day and noticed the wet floor in the bedroom slide. After doing some digging around I noticed Lazy Days had done a quick fix (which failed). There is a HUGE gap at the bottom corner of the slide, I can see daylight. Gaskets seem to all be in place. Looks like a design flaw.

I found some info on other sites/forums but never found an answer. We are leaving for Rockport in a few weeks and found a Fleetwood dealer there, Camper Clinic. Any help to the problem and info on Camper Clinic would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I had a similar problem last week on my Revolution. Heavy rain and water soaked the carpet in bedroom. I can see light at the bottom corner of the slide.
I noticed that there is a rubber sleeve outside that was turned inwards towards the bedroom. I slid it outward but not sure it solved the problem yet.

There is a long black gasket that is the full height of the slide and that is facing out but it looks like something missing at the bottom corner of the slide. I'll try some to post some pics.

If the gasket got curled and created a gap, it might be possible to warm it with a hair dryer and duct tape* it into the desired positon/shape...

Also, you can put a strip on the outside temporarily, to divert the water flow.

As mentioned in another thread, the slideouts can be tilted slightly by raising either end of the coach a tad to shed water in the opposite direction of the leak. My neighbor has a newer Prevost - he's 86 and just bought yet another -- says he always adds some post-leveling tilt to assist water-shedding when rain is possible.

*For removing the goo later, any xylene-based compound (Xylol, Goo Gone, Goof Off) will remove it.

Bottom corner of slide. You can see the black rubber gasket. The green pointer shows where the gap is.

My problem on the Fleetwood is in the same location. Light coming in. The gasket is folded inward. On top as well.

All of that silicone was courtesy of Lazy Days. They also added the flashing that is in the second picture.

We've had the MH for almost a year now and never had a problem before. But I did make sure we were dead level when I leveled the MH for our long stay in Texas for the winter. That still doesn't address the daylight gap at the bottom corner of the slide.

Hopefully there are other Fleetwood owners out there that had/have the same problem and have a cure. Otherwise I'll check with Camper Clinic when we get to Rockport, TX in a few weeks.

If you find a answer to the daylight issue. Let us know. I'm afraid to try and bandaid mine.

Once during a heavy rain we noticed that the carpet was damp on corner of our bedroom slide. After it stopped raining, I examined the gasket seal and found that right hand lower corner where the lower seal and side seal meet was folded in and not fully rolled out in the corner. Now I check all of my slide seals to make sure they are all rolled outward or I use my awning hook to pull them all outward in the corners. I have not had a leak since I have been doing this. I asked my service manager about this and was told it was a common occurance for the outer slide seal to not fully roll out when the slide is extended and all the slides seals should be checked each time.

I had the same issue, but only with a high wind driven rain right into the slide. Water on the floor and some dripped in from the top too. It stopped when I retracted the slide though.

Don't have a clue if it is related, but have been in heavy downpoor (straight down, no wind) before and after that happened with no leaks, but that was rain falling straight down.
