This is a great club with an incredible forum and eGroup (be sure to join BOTH) focused on all-issues related to a single model of Fleetwood. Just today at 9:30 am there have been 16 emails discussing or responding to about 5 different issues (ignore what you're not interested in).

There are chapters that hold local and regional rallies in addition to national rallies. Great sources of info and a lot of fun besides (never imagined I'd enjoy rallies before going to one!).

But watch iRV2 as well as FMA too.

Dave, there are chapters in your area I've heard good things about. Blue Ridge is one. I hope to go to one of their rallies soon. They are all listed with contacts on the DOAI website--click the link above.

If you visit Texas, we have two chapters. Visitors are always welcome at rallies, but you need to let them know in advance so you get a site and they have food for you as well.

We make it to nearly all the Discovery Texans Chapter rallies, and we made it to the national in WY last August and to the other big one at Lazydays in Seffner FL this last January. It's like a national, informally called Camp Discovery, but technically the SE Regional Rally (I think).

That one is convenient for you and invaluable. Next year we plan to attend the FMA and then the Camp Discovery immediately afterward. We also like the CG there, so 2 weeks will be fine. Lots more can be said, but nothing can substitute for being there and experiencing them. Of course, they are what you make of them.

Cindy & Al,
My wife Patti and I bought a condo last August in North Carolina and have not even lived in it yet. We are on our way to Myrtle Beach for a few weeks and then we plan on stopping home for a few months. At that time we will hook up with the Blue Ridge Discovery Group. Thanks for the info. Maybe one day we will run into you. ( No pun intended ) LOL. Dave

I had a 1969 Camaro in 1969 when I came back from Viet Nam. Great car, lots of memories for me.
