Fleetwood Flair 31B

Any reviews on this entry level? I like the layout but can't find anyone mentioning it

I'm sure Fleetwood doesn't use a separate, inexperienced crew to build an entry level RV. If you read reports on Fleetwood products, you can assume that they are made with the same build quality and get the same company support as the higher end RVs in their product line.

Bottom line, if YOU like the layout and features of the RV, don't just look for reviews or experiences of that particular model, check out Fleetwood product experiences more generally.

Looks like the big brother to my 26e.

Everything is the same as a gasser Holiday Rambler, Southwind, Storm, etc.

Except: interior decorations.

Same assembly line and workers for all brand names under REV group.

You get the same frame/driveline depending on weight. Same walls, roof, doors, windows, wiring, full body paint, basement storage material, appliances and the list goes on.

Reviews are hard to come by. I have tossed around the idea of writing a review for my model. The only problem is that there are very few that were produced and probably not much interest.

The Bounders have a long thread. Different species though with their suction toilets and so forth.

I have a '13 FWStorm 32BH that we love which is sorta the big brother of the Flair. Seems that its the Flair then Terra/Storm. Good coach but doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the big boys(more expensive) have but more than adequate. Have traveled cross country from NJ to CA and North to Canada and South to FL. It serves our purposes. BTW it seems that nothing works perfect right out of the box whether its a Flair or much more expensive big diesel unit. I would suggest finding the layout that works for the way you intend to use it and then see if you can find a couple of year old gently used unit that has the bugs worked out. I have used the FW service center in Dacatur, IN and they are great. Might take 11 hours to get there but when the local dealer can't handle something its worth the drive to get something done right. Good luck and enjoy the hunt.
