I hope to never need to do this again! Was lucky I found a ladder tall enough, DW wouldn't stand still enough for me to access what the problem was with me on her shoulder! Lol

Table is assembled and has been delivered to the Bounder in storage. I couldn't get a decent pic since the slide is in. I loooooooove it!! The finish is a little lighter than I expected, but it looks great.

Here's a better look before we took it to the storage facility. The top is just balanced on the pedestal for a photo op.

Looks great. How do you plan on securing it?

The beauty became a beast all in one trip! Had the bedroom slide motor to completely break off the gearbox! Was able to manually slide BR in and out so stayed on course. Ready to head out today and door awning wouldn't roll in.

Duct tape to the rescue! Appointment for proper modification next week!

Sarah table looks nice!

Initially, we aren't going to secure it. It is surprisingly sturdy and very stable, so I don't think it's going to move much at all in between the benches. We'll see how it does on our trip to Colorado. The table we took out simply lifted out of the wall clip and the leg folded up. It wasn't really "secured" either.

The guy from RVFurniture.com builds furniture for Excel and other 5th wheel manufacturers. He said they can drill the legs for securing or not, or they sell a style that has a flat base that is made to be bolted to the floor. He was pretty certain that this style won't tip over or move. I don't really want it bolted to the floor; that would mean we couldn't move it to make the dinette into a bed if we ever need to.

My hubby is pretty handy, so if we later decide that it needs securing we will figure something out. I don't care if I have to criss-cross the seatbelts in the dinette...the table is staying.

Thanks, Tim! I hope you get the awning fixed up, though that duct tape looks snazzy.

That's a gorgeous table, Sarah! I'm envious.

Duct & Eternabond tape - fixes nearly everything, doesn't it Brian? 2 items an RV'r should never be without.

Dang, it's hard to keep up with the Jones's around here!

Thanks, Lori. I'm really pleased with the table; it's solid wood and the finish is gorgeous. RVFurniture.com did a great job, and for a very reasonable cost. The table was shipped in a wood crate!

And I agree about "keeping up with the Joneses!" So many things added to my "I want that" list. But keep 'em comin'!!
