There is no need to secure recliners, based on our experience.

Two recliners purchased ~4 years ago, more than 69,000 miles and 48 states and well over 300 CGs with them in place.

We shove them against the wall for travel and pull them out 12" when we stop. No incidents with them ever.

I had to bolt ours in place to keep them from moving around. Wall huggers so we do not need much clearance behind.

Finally replaced uncomfortable L-Shaped Couch

Inspired by so many past threads i finally replaced the wildly uncomfortable L-Shaped couch with a La-Z-Boy Wall Hugger Sofa. Couldn't be happier.

Fleetwood Mods and Upgrades--Post 'em here!

Years ago, I replaced my old glass tube TV with a 32” flat screen, on my 2005 Providence. Problem was, I still had the dreadful head-banger TV cabinet. I just returned from Mark’s Audio/Video in Irwindale CA, where I had them redesign the cabinetry to accept a 40” wide screen. This was a bit of work, as they had to shrink the section to the right of the TV that houses some of my electronics. While the cabinet was out, I had them replace the cheap insulation inside the front cap, with something more robust. I also had them shrink down the fuse panel door directly below the dash. I’ve always hated the way the right side of that door obstructed the entry door walkway. They had to remove the door’s passenger side cupholder in the process, but there is another cupholder to the right of the passenger seat, so no loss.

My RV originally came with three 12V sun visors. I told them not re-affix the center visor that was under the TV cabinet, as I plan on having them replace all of the visors with a full-width 12V MCD shade in a few months. That way I can ditch the out-dated windshield curtain as well. I’m very happy with the way everything turned out.

Can this be considered an upgrade if I pull it on a trailer behind the coach?

On a more serious note, I did replace both analog thermostats with digital ones. I removed the old bat wing antenna and installed a Jack antenna. No more bat wing antenna banging on the roof!! I also installed a new cover for the slide out. next upgrade with probibly be a new dish on the roof.

Per the manufacturers description;
The NEXIQ Blue-Link™ Mini is a mobile vehicle interface that enables you to use either your iOS or Android devices (e.g., smartphones or tablets) to communicate with heavy duty vehicles for quick access to basic diagnostic information. It plugs into the vehicle’s diagnostic connector, and provides wireless communication with on-board electronic control units.

When used in conjunction with First-Link™, the new mobile app from NEXIQ Technologies, the NEXIQ Blue-Link Mini™ becomes a triage tool for drivers and service technicians of commercial vehicles and equipment.

The First-Link™ app provides features that help drivers connect their mobile devices to the vehicle’s diagnostic port; they also monitor the vehicle’s health status and increase the vehicle’s uptime. If, for example, a Check Engine Light is illuminated, the app assists the driver to understand the cause so that he can seek assistance if needed (i.e., service and repair). Later back at the shop, service technicians can utilize the information gathered by the application to aid in vehicle service and repair.

The First-Link™ app is available on both the App Store and on Google Play.

Compatibility

In addition to the NEXIQ Blue-Link™ Mini, the First-Link™ mobile app is compatible with the NEXIQ Blue-Link™ and the USB-Link™2.

The NEXIQ Blue-Link™ Mini is also compatible with the DTNA eLink app for mobile devices (available on both the App Store and on Google Play).

Benefits

Small—fits in your pocket
Wireless—no cables required
Reliable Bluetooth communication
Fast—lets you quickly gather a snapshot of vehicle statistics

......but be SURE you have a 9-pin J1939 diagnostic connector to be able to use the Cummins inline mini.

Older electronic engines used a 6-pin J1708 connector... around 2004/2005 "engine" model year they changed to 9-pin

BTW there's a few others on the market that do the same and will connect to the he Cummins fault app. It's only a Bluetooth adapter. The magic happens in the software.

Upgraded my front AC to a Mach 15. I am Very happy with the initial performance gains I am seeing ( 25 degree drop). I was amazed how poorly the seal was between the return and supply of the old unit.
