Those look great, Lori! (I'm not showing those pics to my hubby, haha.) I assume they are 12V? Is there a way to manually wind them if you lose power for some reason?

Yes they are 12v. Didn't think about manually retracting. Will have to find out about that.

I have installed the same reels in my last two motorhomes. I have never had a power failure in that time. If the power should fail, you can hand turn the drum by the edge of it and reel it in.

Thanks ga traveler. It couldn't be any worse than wrestling that cord into a loop to get it in the bay like we used to do.

Mods to my rev

I have owned my Revolution for about 10 months and here are a few of the things I have done.

I replaced the norcold with a Samsung 197. Works fantastically though I do need to buy a latch for the freezer drawer.

I replaced the carpet and tile with engineered hardwood.

I replaced the CRT's in bedroom and living area with flatpanels. I took the opportunity to remove the headknocker on the front tv and jam a 40" in the hole. Bought some matching vinyl and trimmed it out to look like a factory job. This was a huge improvement in "perceived" space and actually has eliminated head injuries upon entering coach ;-) The pic is of the space with cabinet removed and mounting hardware welded up and bolted in place.

Added a Progressive Industries hardwired surge with remote

Added a Tire Minder TPMS for coach and wrangler toad

Replaced original "DVD Surround" system with a pioneer home receiver and a Blu Ray player. Replaced subwoofer with a new powered unit.

Bought a Scangauge D

Replaced my rear camera with a rear safety 3 camera setup (color and flatscreen monitor)

Replaced the wallpaper border ;-)

New Headlamp assemblies and HID light kit

A boulder and I modified a couple of my basement doors and had to unmodify them at a body shop ;-)

Mods not yet done....

Would like a new mattress. Thinking sleepnumber.

I covet the cord reels, just cant get over the price each time I get close ;-)

I dig the lazyboy replace SarahW did. Perhaps someday.

Here are a few pics I could find.

You know, they say do not mix electrical and water but I am digging it here! Well done, Lori-.

Any chance you have the invoice to share part numbers for the two reels?

Chris

I just ordered a Valterra "Twin Trak" that converts the single awning track into two. This will allow the patio lights and a sun shade extension to be installed on the awning at the same time, so we don't have to swap them out when the sun goes down.

TV mount pic

By popular demand, I got a few PM's, I found a pic of the tv box removed and new 40" installed and trimmed out.

What towbar do you use? We just bought a Wrangler...

Brian--I finally got a pic of the new LEDs. These are the natural white color. I had to take the photo in the storage facility, so the slide is in...but you get the idea. I'm really happy with these lights! The reduction in radiant heat from the bulbs is astonishing. (Sorry for the poor quality cell phone photo; I forgot to take my camera with me.)

The dash cover I had made by Dorothy at "Blondie's Pit Stop" ( Blondie's Pit Stop: Enjoy The Car You Drive! ) turned out great. The cover has smoothed out since it was a little wrinkly from being boxed up and shipped from Colorado.

Our little dog is going to LOVE this, and I'm going to love that I don't have to wipe up doggie dribble and paw prints 60 times a day! (Of course, the nose prints on the windshield will still be an issue. ) I expect this will help with glare and reflection, too.
