Has anyone ever had Fleetwood factory service performed in PA either before or after warranty?
I'm just wondering how the procedure works.
They are reasonably close to me, and am considering trying to have them research and repair my squeaks, especially the floor (under the carpeting) squeaking in front of the sofa.
I don't believe I'll have access to this area from below.

Unless Fleetwood has changed their policy there is no consumer factory service. The exceptions are that a dealer can send you there for major work or you require some warranty work that only the factory can repair. This applies to all Fleetwood motor homes except for the American line. FW is the only mfr. I know that follows this policy. A real shame as many of the FW dealers cannot change a light bulb!!

I would try to find an independent RV shop to do the work. Maybe a mobile RV guy. I would not trust a dealer service center. Most of the dealerships will just let your rig set on their lot while they service the rigs that they sold.
If you can find a good mobile RV guy, he may be able to fix your rig right there in your driveway.

I bought my Bounder from Media Camping Center in Hatfield, PA. Their service is excellant. I had a recall on my levelers, a leaking slide and a bunch of small things that needed attention. It was fixed in less than a week.

Dick, I've looked at RVs in the past at Media Camping Center, thanks for the endorsement.
I have found a local independent place (that I've known the guy for years) that seems to know what to do...have an appointment mid-October...have to rally at Danforth Bay/Freedom NH Columbus Day weekend!
From my squeak post:

I need squeak help! Spoke with a respected local independent RV repair facility today, he mentioned the dash squeak issue cound be a weld failing.
He also was aware of the floor squeak...said a bolt could have broken if the frame twisted while leveling...easy to spot from underneath, but the repair would involve removing the sofa and pulling back the carpeting, then installing a new bolt into the subfloor.
Made an appointment for him to look at it mid-October. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

moisheh... is correct regarding consumer factory service. However, when I visited the Riverside, CA factory and took their tour which was two years ago next month, I asked the gentleman who was our tour guide, he happened to be the senior floor manager, about a problem on my Pace Arrow and he said if I had the time bring it by and they would fix it.
Officially they don't do consumer service, but if you just happen to be there chances are they'll take care of it. It probably depends on the problem as well as their schedule. He told me he could look at mine in two days. As it was I didn't have the time, and the problem wasn't that big of a deal.
