I just purchased a 2004 Providence. It has 6500 miles on it and we think we died and went to heaven. My question....what is the difference between the Providence and the Expedition? So far we have been very satisfied with this coach.

They are both on the same chassis. The Providence has higher HP rating, interior finish levels, and items that are options on the Expedition are standard. If you optioned out the Expedition you would almost have a Providence.

hondo122 is right on the money, you can also get most of the options on the Discovery except for the increase HP. Do you have 330 or 350 HP?
The Discovery comes with 330 hp, but can be increased to 350 with a new chip.

The Providence and the Excursion are essentially twins, with only their badges to distinguish them. The Expedition is a bit further down the marketing scale, as hondo122 explained.

My wife liked the galley a little bit better on the Providence, as well as the wood trim along the ceiling. Personally, I like the lighting...I love the dimmable halogen ceiling lamps.

hi to all fleetwood owners,
i have a 2005 providence in slate and love it.
just as a heads up i'm in the process of having the bedroom and kitchen window replaced. the seal has broken on both. surprisingly fleetwood realizes this has been a proplem and are covering the replacement plus some labor. unfortunately my dealership stated that they allow a total of 2 hrs labor and it will take them 4 hrs. so i will be stuck with 2hrs. labor.
cost of the windows approx $500 bedroom and $175 for kitchen. just hooked up toad 2007 jeep wrangler x black.
thanks jka
