I ran across this recall on the nhtsa web site. Fleetwood pace Arrow, engine and engine cooling. NHTSA campaign # 06V388000. This discusses a possible fire in the engine compartment area. Has anyone received anything from Fleetwood on this?

Recall Info here says Workhorse issues the recalls <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Remedy:
WORKHORSE IS HANDLING THE OWNER NOTIFICATION AND REMEDY FOR THIS CAMPAIGN (PLEASE SEE 06V225). DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FUEL RAIL PULSE DAMPER RETAINER CLIPS ON THESE ENGINES FREE OF CHARGE. OWNERS MAY CONTACT WORKHORSE AT 877-294-6773 OR FLEETWOOD AT 1-800-322-8216. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>...I found mine online for this at Workhorse website...if you have a Workhorse chassis, maybe you should sign up there online and see.

BEFORE I purchased the new (to me) rig, I registered online with Workhorse, saw that the current owner was never transferred as the owner, and the recall was outstanding/never performed.

I notified them of this and had them have the recall/campaign work performed before I even came down to look at it.

They were miffed that their RV dealer never updated Workhorse that they were the new owners...that was why they never received the recall notice in the mail. They were also miffed that they had been using it for over a year with a potential fire hazard...why you can't count on dealers to watch out for your interests AFTER the sale.
