As some of you know we just got a new Fleetwood Southwind. When going thru the suitcase of information that comes along with a new rv the salesperson mentioned we have 5 years of roadside assistance thru Ford and showed the number to call if we have a flat tire or we break down or even run out of gas. I have to read about that more and haven't had the chance yet but wanted to ask if any of you have had any experience with this?
Right now we just have AAA RV plus which I have heard in some areas is no good although AAA says it is good whereever we are. Was looking at ERS with Good Sam too. But, if we get the same thing with Ford then why pay for something different for the first 5 years?????
Anyone have any ideas or thoughts on this?

Thanks guys!

Its a good plan.I used it when I broke down last summer. They towed me to a rv dealer who does Ford warranty work. I have coach-net also.I called them first, but fords turn around was quicker.I still had to wait till morning with both. They didnt allow for my personal transport for my family,so we rented a car on my dime.

Thanks for the response.
I think it is nice they include that with the rv. Our Freelander didn't come with anything like that.

Maybe we should keep our AAA to go along with this.

Not sure if Ford covers other family owned cars.I keep both plans, one is free, one is for the rest of our cars and trucks. They have paid for themselves without a doubt.

I think we will keep the AAA but maybe downgrade to the regular instead of the RV Plus? Not sure yet but will keep something with them to cover other vehicles and things.
Thanks.
