Freedom 458 Inverter not inverting

I have an inverter that was working but had some issues with tripping the Sm. appliance circuit when something was plugged in but not always especially when hooked up to AC. After using it as an inverter it worked for a while then stopped. I checked the system and found that there was no charge going to house batteries while driving so I fired up the generator and ran for a while to charge and then all was good for a while. I started the generator again and was running the A/C systems to cool off and then stopped after a while. When I went back to push invert nothing happened.

I verified power to the I/C, disconnected the remote display and tried the overide button to no avail. I have been told that there are three boards inside and I guess what my question is, Does anyone know how to test the boards and is it really worth fixing?

Sorry for the wordy description just trying to paint the picture and I thank you in advance for any input as to what I should maybe do.

I believe one of the circuit boards has a fuse on it.
Worth a look .
Another member just posted about this , but I think his model was a 450.

EDIT: Here's a link to his post.

I already have checked the fuse. Someone has also stated there was two but I could only find one! Thanks for your input, any idea what the life of this might be?
