Freightliner XCM chassis

2014 Providence 42p w/tag could use some improvement when in windy conditions. It's not terrible. I just thought it wood be better. What has anyone done to improve road handling?

Haven't weighed it 4 corners but tire pressures are at 120 all around. I know it would ride better if I lowered the pressure but that isn't the problem. It's the side sway with a cross wind.

IMO the higher pressures will/can play with stability in cross winds. Suggest you inflate to recommended pressures and give it a try. Really cheap solution if it works.

My guess would be the TP is too high. I do not have any tires with that much pressure.

The tire pressure definitely affects handling - too much pressure leads to "squirrelly" steering. May not be your only problem, but start there (cheap & easy!).

If that doesn't do it, a stiffer anti-sway bar may be available to help

Maybe your expectations are just too high. At some point, enough wind is going to affect that huge sail (42 ft long x 12+ ft tall). It takes a lot of wind to move my 40 footer XCM Liberty, but it will move a bit if the gusts are strong enough, and it cants slightly sideways in a strong steady wind. That's basically the air suspension tilting to the wind pressure and normal.
