I have a 2005 Fleetwood expedition. I am curious to know how to access my water pump. I can barely see the pump itself in the compartment that contains my fresh water hook ups.

Why do you need to get to it, unless it's broken? You can always call Fleetwood, they are very responsive.

good to see another 2005 expedition..I have the 38N diesel model purchased a couple of months ago.....we love it. I think I can see my pump better in the storage bay to the left of the water hook up bay. Maybe wrong about that. I am away from home right now or I would go look for you. Hope this helps....glen from Mississippi

That is true about the need to access it. I should just worry about it when and if the time comes.

Mine is in the compartment forward of the water hookup area.
I have been reading about people that changed the pump. Ther recommend the sureflow model 5900 -0201 or 5900-0211.
These have better pressure than the OEM pumps.
Here is a modification that I made to my water system. Go to your local plumbing dealer not the box stores and ask for a 4 gang manifold that is used in residential homes.
I attached pex hose to each water inlet as shown with a backflow preventer and left one for the grand kids water hose. I use a sewer solution vs the 4" stinky hose so that is the one going to the dump valve. Now when I go to the campgrounds all I have to hook up is one hose and I have everything else connected.
If you have any questions, PM me.

Maybe slightly off topic but, my 12v pump periodically comes on for about a second once every few minutes. That tells me it's losing pressure but I have searched for leaks everywhere with no luck. Is the pump seeping back and loosing pressure ? Is this something that can be repaired or rebuilt or do I replace the pump or live with it and turn it off before I go to bed?
