After doing some searching and unable to find what I'm looking for, can anyone tell me the fuel capacity on my 2001 Bounder 33R? I've only had it for 2 weeks and haven't topped it off yet so I was wondering what to expect at the gas station.

What chassis? The Ford chassis is 75 gallons. Our old Oshkosh chassis was 90 gallons. Not sure what the Workhorse chassis is, but someone will know.

If it's a gas Bounder, you can go to THIS THREAD & click on the links to get to Fleetwood's website to download the brochure for your year/chassis Bounder. That'll tell you.

As for what to expect at the pump, with current fuel prices, expect sticker shock if you have to fill up an empty tank.

Well this is interesting...I know my Bounder is a 33R, but I don't see it listed in 2001...or 2000 for that matter.

It's listed for 2002. Are you sure yours is a 2001? Of course, it could've been one of those mid-year switches where they came out with a model after the brochures for the model year were already printed.

That's the way it was advertised, and that's what the sales contract says too. I too found it under the 2002 models...I wonder if it was a "last off the line" for 2001? When the title arrives in a week or so I guess I'll know for sure.

Later this week I'll get it out of storage and check the MFG plate for a date...it seems to me it said Dec 2000, but now I can't recall.

The NADA guide is often inaccurate on model designations, either missing some or adding some that were never made in a particular year.

You tank is a 75 gallon. Straight from the Ford F53 Owners manual. Page 96 Filling station information.
