Welcome to iRV2.

Sorry you're here with problems .

If you overloaded the slide drive motor you may have blown a fuse in that circuit .
Have you checked ALL the fuses in the coach ?
And I say ALL , because , I've found fuses in 10 different places in my coach.

Do you have the engine running? You need to have sufficient voltage or the controller will stop moving the slide. The engine has to be running, or the coach needs to be plugged into shore power, or have the generator running in order to maintain enough voltage to keep the 3 slide motors moving.

Another possibility is that one of the motors has a loose connection. This happened to me. The connection was repaired, but the Tech had released the motor's brake and then the whole thing had to be re-programmed, and the motors needed to be re-synchronized.

Lastly the controller is shot, and that would be really bad.

I'll attach the full wall slide manual for your info.

Good luck!

2008 Bounder 38P

Had similar problem, but not over extending ?? One time while travel on a long trip tried retracting, it would start to move then grunt, strain and stop moving. The frig.is on that slide and was full so I emptied the bulk of the weight from underside storage. Went inside and tried again and it returned as it normally does. All moving parts get lubed regularly but it has always returned slow like it just wasn't up to the job. Not sure if this is a common problem so I just keep that slide lite. Hope this helps
