FW Revolution

Been looking for a 2004 Revolution 40ft but don't see many for sale? Is that because they aren't good or popular models?

I would think the opposite, the ones folks don't want are for sale!

They are popular. If you haven't found any for sale then that would mean that the owners are not selling them OR you haven't looked very hard. I just found 6 2004 models for sale on ebay. Why are you limiting yourself to a 2004 model?

2004 FLEETWOOD REVOLUTION 38B (350HP) | eBay

2004 Fleetwood Revolution 40C 2 Slide Outs | eBay

Well I did see the ones noted in this thread. Just thought it wasn't many like other models. That look good to me!

I'll need to decide what to look further into.

In this Economy you can get quite alot! Look at all brands, Tiffin, Fleetwood, etc.. Many for sale well below 100K. If the dealer is asking that much it's just that ASKING!!!!!! You set the price based on what you are willing to pay. Now your not going to get it for 20K but a reasonable offer should get what you want.

Well I have seen more that look great (in pictures) and are lower in price than I would expect.

Do you think it better to buy from a dealer or private sale?

If you buy private no sales tax but I would still have it checked out by a professional to try to head off surprises.

That's certainly not true in WI.

My best friend and traveling companion has a 2003 Revolution and I have a 2005. He bought his at auction and after seeing how well built his was and how pleased he was, I bought mine from an older couple that just could not handle the large Class A Coach. Very happy with the workmanship and performance. I have had window fogging issues on mine but that problem is not unique to the Revolution.
