Hear something? Check it out.

Just returned from a trip to Lancaster, Pa. During the trip we were just about 1/4 mile from the campground when it sounded like something loud smack the roof. It occurred while driving a hilly two lane road and I did not see any low limbs that would make contact with the roof.

Once we got home I did my roof cleaning and found the front bracket of the solar panel broken on one side. Only thing I could figure is a limb got between the A/C cover and panel and pried it upward until the bracket broke. I was glad it wasn't any worse. Although the roof is now clean I need to contact Fleetwood to see if I can get a new bracket for the front of the solar panel.

Lesson learned for me is if I hear anything unusual I will check it right away.

Going to try again this weekend. Headed to another part of the state. I will be listening for any unusual sounds!

By the way...Nice avatar! Guy at work just bought his dream car Cobra (royal blue with white stripe) . Sweet ride!

Thanks. We love driving it to local car shows or out to a Saturday afternoon lunch. Makes us feel young again.
