If the power at the pole is good your problem is probably between the pole and the transfer switch (generator transferred OK). It could be a loose wire inside the transfer switch. Do you have a surge protector or autoformer installed? You have lost one leg of the power. It is fairly easy to find the bad leg but that depends on your skill level, you don't want to stick your fingers in there without some knowledge.

Hypoxia is probably correct. If everything works with the generator running and you know for a fact that all 4 legs on the 50 amp pole are live and correct, the problem is somewhere between your shore plug and the transfer switch.

You say you that you "don't have a tester" and then you say the "power panel inside coach says it's only getting 30 amps".
The power panel IS a tester.... and it is apparently telling you that the "perfectly healthy 50" is NOT perfectly healthy!.

You say your "power panel" is telling you:
A.) "everything is running normally" when you turn on the generator.
AND
B.) you only have 30A when plugged into a 50A receptacle

If that is true, IMO, there is a problem with one of these three:
1.) The shore power.
2.) The shore power receptacle.
OR
3.) Your 50A power cord.

Again thank you everyone....turned out to be a wiring issue where the junction box and the 50 power cord meet the coach (in a bay ) quick rewiring and all is well..MANY MANY THANKS...ML
