HELP! Searching for User Manual's for 1997 Searcher

I'm the new owner of a 1997 Fleetwood Searcher 26F

The good folks at Fleetwood gave me lots of information over the phone today BUT said they didn't have any User's Manuals to send me via a PDF file...but they did confirm that all the equipment/appliances that were initally supplied with the unit are stock and haven't been replaced.

If any of you have any ideas tips on how I can collect these ASAP, I'd certainly tip my hat to you....

Thanks for all the links..just wondering if
www.user-manuals.com would be a good source for a few of the appliances at $9.99 each.....

This may not be the easy task I thought it would....Fleetwood is still answering their phone and after giving them the FIN number, they were able to give me the model numbers of my essential appliances....but they couldn't e-mail me what they were reading on their screen.

The Carfax report I received say the unit has a "MOTORIZED CUTAWAY 6.8L V10 PFI SOHC 20V REAR WHEEL DRIVE" but the Ford website only has PDF. files for Econoline vans...and I'm not really too interested in printing 30 pages of how to fasten a seatbelt!

I need a 'vehicle specific' manual for the unit if one actually exists....that lists the numbers for all the belts and all routine maintenance items....

Still hoping that someone reading this might be able to assist.....I'm just here in the US for a 3-4 months and wanted to hit the road by May 1 ...YIKES!!

If you are expecting something like the owner manual that typically comes with a car, forget about it. There isn't one.

The owner manual for most motorhomes is just some general instructions on care and usage and not very "vehicle specific" at all. Some will have a picture of the dashboard and point out the major controls, but that's about it. The bulk of the manuals are simply the appliance and system manuals from the component manufacturer and Rick gave you links to download a t lot of those (and free too).

Here are some more sources:
