This link RV.Net Open Roads Forum: Technology Corner will get you to the tech corner on RVNET. A user there with the handle Bill.Satellite is very informed on this stuff. Maybe he can help you.

If the dish was designed for Direct Tv, select 18 inch round in your setup menu and do not use any B band converters if you have those. They are the rectangular boxes inline with a receiver.

At this point, you will only be able to power one receiver input if you have a DVR. There are some tricks but see if this gets you going first.

Make sure you have a clear shot of the sky without one twig in the way and make sure your rv batteries are fully charged. Better yet, plug into shoreline or use the generator to make sure you have plenty of DC voltage.
