I have a 99 Southwind 32V, and it is suppose to have a Hot Water Bypass. Nothing in the manual indicates where it is located. I have search all the usual suspects and don't see it. Any assistance appreciated as it is getting cold up here.

I don't know about a '99, but on a 2004, its at the back of the first storage compartment behind the entry door.

The shut offs would be on your cold and hot water pipes on WH these can be accessed in compartment next to WH or you may have a access under WH compartment with a circle cover like used in a sewer compartment.

Welcome to irv2 Victor.

Ottawa....On my 99 Southwind the water heater is located in the bathroom in the vanity for the sink. You need to take the drawer out completely then you will see the top of the water heater. I mention all of this because my water heater has a single handle for the bypass. It is rather difficult to find, you just have to reach around til you locate it inside the cabinet. Mine is located next to a metal plate. All that is necessary once you locate the handle is to raise it to the verticle position and your heater is by passed. Hope this isn't too confusing. If you have the owners manual, it will explain all this provided your Southwind is the same as mine. Good Luck
