House battery draining
I am up in New Hampshire at .the twin taramac campground with my buddy who has a 2005 bounder 35e. The house battery is draining down even when plug into 50 amps service. First happen last night with the heat on after a while the house battery was down and by the morning the chassis battery was down. So we jumped both battery's and the intellitec system came back up lasted for about 8 hrs or so and then drained down again. The house battery drained down and not the chassis battery this time. Was able to start the MH and noticed that at the house battery with a meter that the battery jumped up to13 volts but still has a real slow drain. Any info would be very much appreciated thanks

Sounds like it's not being charged for whatever reason.

The converter on my 08 35 E is under the drawers below the emergency widow in the bedroom. I recently replaced the WFCO with a Progressive Dynamics 9160. A real Pain to get to but well worth the switch.

On my 2004 35e it is under the refrigerator. You do have to remove the panel [2 screws] Good luck. Let us know what you find.

I found the converter in the luggage compartment two doors down from the entry door. Had heat all night but this morning the system was drained down the chassis battery is drained need to jump start to get home. I am getting a reading of 8 volts at the back of the converter and at the house battery and the other side of the converter is a three prong plug with no reading. Traced to junction box near by also no juice what's that plug in go to just noticed that There is a gfi at this end it will not reset because there is no juice there. Any suggestions out there? Thanks

I 'm thinking that's an inverter that you found and your gfi outlet may need replacing or the breaker for it re-set.

I would first go to the 120v service panel. Firmly shut all breakers off, then firmly back on. Now check for 120v at the converter/charger. If good, plug it in. Output should be 13.6v or higher. If under 13v, it's bad.
If no 120v at the outlet, check ALL GFIs and re-set as necessary.
If you actually have an inverter/charger, I'll leave that to someone else.

Cliff thanks it says Rv converter on it.the gfi is built into the converter and there is no juice at that outlet . That makes sense now in the back it reads the same as the battery and nothing is coming out the outlet. So I need to find the inverter right? But this converter comes on when we turn on the inverter switch in the bed room. Thanks again cliff I love this sight.

My batteries would not charge with the generator running and at 0400 I lost all 12v including my a/c in south Texas....not good anytime of the summer hours...ha ha BUT, when plugged into shore power, the batteries charged. Did not know what to do so I got a very qualified tech and he found the converter was charging on shore power but not the gen. He said he never heard of a converter doing this...replaced it and all is well.
Just another paragraph in our learning curve.
