House battery replacement

I just finished replacing my house batteries (4 x 6v Duracell) that I purchased from Sams for $179 each. They are the same as original for 2008 American eagle. Perfect fit in existing container. I followed instructions from RVGeeks video and cleaned up the area before replacing new batteries. My originals lasted 11 years and I had issues with the inverter and aqua hot system. In the process, I found a loose screw at the fuse post for the inverter which probably would have solved all the problems but felt that, after 11 years, new batteries were a good idea. This was a day long project but I took my time and did it right. Everything is working perfect now including the aqua hot system (not sure of the connection between the two).

Getting 11 years out of a set of deep cycle batteries is nothing short of remarkable. You definitely got your money's worth out of them. Congrats.

Nice job, I do 90 maintenance on all battery's, To assure excellent post terminal connections I assure to use battery lubricant. I buy from Home Depot electrical dept. the Electrical Inhibitor , Its stops all corrosion and assures great conductivity . fyi, all power company linemen use also on every connection.

Thanks for the compliment on the job. I have to admit that it did turn out really nice and I’m proud of my work on this (first time for this 58 yo with some hobby related experience). I will pick up some Electrical Inhibitor from HD and apply as you suggested. Thanks for the advice.
