How do I access wiring?
Hi,
My wife and I have a 2005 Fleetwood Fiesta 26Y. I'm hoping to run a wire from under the dining table bench to the overhead compartment where the A/V equipment is located. I know that Fleetwood ran wires up there from somewhere down below, but haven't yet figured out where they did it.
Will running a wire even be possible? Or did Fleetwood build the coach around the already existing wiring?
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure what is done most of the time is wiring up in the forward area of the cap is done up the side of the front window area where it is covered by your dash and side trim stuff. Look to see if there some pop-out plugs on the side. If there are simply unscrew them and lift the side panel out, should expose the wiring there. That's the way my Damon was done.
cheers

OK, thanks! I found a couple of pieces of removable trim where the bottom of the overhead bins meets the back (part towards living area) and also where the A-pillar is located. So, going to take those apart when I get a chance.
Got a new rearview camera setup, and want to mount the monitor in approximately the spot where a center rear-view mirror would be on a car. So need to feed the video wire and a 12v ign switched wire up to the overhead.

Mark... Fleetwood typically runs their wiring to the overhead area up along the left and right windshield columns. If you remove the paneling along the column/s you will expose the existing wires and cables. Depending on the model, on my Pace Arrow the wires down at the bottom part of the column go down through and come out inside the engine compartment where the distribute to where they need to go.
If you need to run the video wire and a 12v wire to the back of the coach for the camera then routing the wiring down from the above mentioned engine compartment area along the frame should do the trick. If your using existing wiring make sure the cable is compatible with your new monitor.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for your reply. I only need to run 1 wire (actually a bundle all in one sheath - about 1/4" diam) to the rear. It includes the 12v + and - wires for the camera in the bundle. Then, that wire, and a 12v ign switched up to the overhead cabinet for the LCD monitor. I've located the removable trim piece on the windshield A-pillar, so I should be able to route it now. I'm waiting a couple weeks to finish it as we plan on doing our first weekend trip of the season next weekend and I don't want to have it apart when it's time to leave.
Thanks again!
Mark

Depends on where the overhead is.. For example in my Intruder (Damon) The TV and such is up front, over the dash and the wires run up and down the "A" pillar, which is easily "Opened" by removing a few screws
