In my house the GFI switches have a reset button to push if one of them ever trips due to moisture. The ones on my fleetwood do not have a reset switch that I can see. I got moisture/water on the one in the service bay that powers the dirt devil vac, and I can't find how to reset it. Anyone know?
thanks as always
Ed

Maybe its not a GFI receptical but on a GFI circuit breaker. Check the breakers and see if one has a reset.

On my coach there is one GFCI outlet of the traditional kind with the test and reset buttons.. There are 4 GFCI protected outlets

They are daisy chained like this: {Breaker box breaker}{GFCI type outelt}{Regular outlet 1}{2}{3}

If the Kitchen, or outside or dining room GFCI trips... You reset the bathroom

In some cases the breaker that feeds the outlets will be the GFCI.. If I were designing motor homes this is how I would do it.. The outlets would all be normal and only the breaker would be different.

If this is the case check your breaker box.. The GFCI breaker should "Jump" out at you due to a somewhat unique appearance (The presence of the "TEST" button)

Finally.... There is always the chance that you have a different problem.. I have heard of wires coming loose (usually in the box behind the master GFCI outlet but hey) Screws loose in the breaker box (Had that myself) and bad connections elsewhere.. Also broken wires in a slide out.

I have one GFCI on my Alpine in the bathroom. The other outlets, including the basement, daisy chain off this. I took the trouble to test all my outlets and stuck those "protected by GFCI" stickers on all those I found. I do have some other outlets not protected, but these come via the inverter so are protected in a different way.
One problem with the daisy chaining is that it limits the total power you can draw on that circuit. Tell your wife she can't use the hairdryer in the bathroom while you are brewing coffee in the kitchen.

Hey all, thanks for the responses, again you all have solved my problem. The one with the reset was in the middle bath and it fixed the problem.

I can tell Ed that you haven't had your MH in for any repairs. It would have cost you "hundreds" for them to reset your GFI not to mention the other questions you (me too) have had answered here.

This is a vast unpaid resource of information at our finger tips.

You're right on both counts Jim... Goes in for service and a few things next week. I started to write "thousands" but thought it might sound silly. Guess i'm in for a little shock next week.
I signed up for the Irv2 rally last night and can't wait to meet all you great, helpful folk in Arizona this summer.
