We are getting ready to use our 2004 Excursion for the first time. I want to sanitize the potable water tank. First I am seeing that the lever to open the cold water drain is missing but I think I can take the one off the hot water water drain until I can get another one somewhere. My question is this. I see there are small outlets for the water to run out which would run out into the bay. We had a Newmar previously and the pipes ran out of the bay floor. A regular hose will not fit onto these outlets. Do you just let the water go into the bay and out the drain holes in the bottom of the bay or is there some kind of hose you should attach to it. They are not threaded outlets.

Also can someone tell me how big my tank is?

On my 04 Providence, there is a drain for the fresh water tank on the other side of the coach from the plumbing panel. The drains in the plumbing panel are low point drains to drain the water lines.
