I don't know what's wrong!? Batteries discharging

Help! I'm at my wits end! (2000 Bounder) We just took our RV up to have the batteries/generator looked at last Thursday. Problem: both batteries not staying charged, generator not starting. Their diagnosis:"Checked fuses and wiring, found no power getting to generator, 12.9V at coach batteries. Found battery disconnect switch off, Need to advise customer of switch and show how to use it."
They found a blown fuse and replaced that and discovered that the battery disconnect was, in fact, not connected. They switched it on. They said the generator fired right up after the fuse was replaced.
Picked it up last Friday. Today, when I went out to do some things in preparation for a weekend trip, everything was dead, again. Main battery and house battery. Nothing! The fridge and AC are working while plugged in but not the microwave. ???? I haven't tried plugging anything into the outlets yet.
I had turned the battery disconnect switches on on Friday after we got home.
This time, rather than just one click while trying to start the generator, now it is rapid fire clicking, and only when plugged into the electric in the garage. There is no place to take it that isn't backed up at least 4-6 weeks. I need the AC while driving because I'm traveling with dogs to some trials.
I'm so frustrated right now!

Did you have it plugged up after bringing home? If yes, then batteries will charge. If you turn the disconnect to turn batteries off, they will not charge and may have enough parasitic drains to kill the batteries.

No, I didn't plug it in right away. I did disconnect the batteries. It's been plugged in for almost 7 hours now.

It will take some time to get a full charge on the batteries. If they are failing they will discharge rapidly. I would give it more time to charge.
You should see above 13 volts if it is charging.

If you don't have a voltmeter get one and hit YouTube for instructions.
