I don't seem to have a Sirius antenna on my new bounder 35k
So I've posted about this problem before, but still have yet to take it in to figure it out.
Basically sirius goes out depending on which way I'm facing. So I got up on top of the roof this weekend to figure out where the sirius antenna is and to my surprise there is no sirius antenna.
So I'm guessing they mounted it on the inside, which can understandably cause issues, but I can't find it at all.
I get sirius fine when I'm facing south so there is for sure some kind of antenna installed. I just wanted to find it to see if it's something I can do to fix the problem.
Anyone had any issues with this?

Just buy a cheap Sirius antenna and plug it in, they are basically universal. I have put one on 3 different built in car stereos and all 3 antennas looked identical. I usually mount the antenna right up against the glass of windshield, but not on the windshield, sitting flat on the dash.
If you need a picture, let me know, will take one later for you when I get home tonight.

I can only imagine that they installed the receiver part of the antenna in the front cap, behind the cabinets or TV. On ours they glued it to the outside of the front cap, up on top.
I agree, DegoRed's suggestion may be the easiest fix, and not all that expensive.
As an aside, when I first tried to activate ours it didn't work at all. Come to find out the antenna plug had pulled apart. Have you checked where yours plugs in? Obviously it is at least partially plugged in, but maybe if it's a bit loose the signal is too weak unless the antenna is pointed directly at the satellite?

Mine does the same thing when the coach is pointed north. Not sure where the antenna is either. I do know that pioneer, the maker of the stereo does have a download for one of the stereos that supposedly fixes the problem but I'm not sure if it is the same unit we have. I think the best option would be the new antenna suggested.

Their "should" be an antenna on top of the front fiberglass cap. If not, install one.
When someone tells me they have to face north for the radio to work that tells me no antenna.

Fleetwood customer service knows nothing about supplying a Sirius cable nor a Sirius antenna on current Bounders. First thing I did was call to ask if anything was installed at the factory. I had to buy my own. There's a small whip style antenna for a terrestrial radio.

Here is the location for the Sat Ant on 2014 35K. I think that it should be in the same place on most. I received this picture from Fleetwood.

Sorry guess i don't know how to attach an image. The picture shows a small antenna passenger side just about 12 inches right of the satellite dome. It looks like it is about 3 to 4 inches in diameter and maybe 1 to 2 inches tall.
Fleetwood can send you the picture. I would if I knew how.

All I know is mine has radio antenna that is about 14 inch tall with a spring mount and another that is about 3 inch tall. thought the short one was for Sirius, since don't have anything else. And the Sirius works real good.

Here is the orbit of the 3 Sirius satellites.
You can see why there is lower signal acquisition in the north than in the south.

XM uses different satellites.
