ICC Light Flash Switch Not Working

Hi Guys,
I am hoping some of you may have an idea of what I should be checking and troubleshooting to find out why my ICC Rear Light Flash isn't working.
I was backed up to the wall in my building last night checking to see what some of my upgrades looked like against the wall and when I tried my ICC switch it seems it is not working and I use it a lot! You know when you pass a truck and he flashes to come back over and you do, and then Thank him with the ICC flash.
Ideas??

Those of us that don't have an ICC switch simply flash our lights some other way...(if we need to flash them)?

Do they require the engine to be running or the head lights to be on and if so , we're they ?

My marker ICC light flash switch is in the wheel. Is yours? I second the thought on the key might need to be on for the switch to work. Sounds like the switch might have gone bad.

We have a SmartWheel. One switch on the left side flashes the headlights and one on the right flashes the marker lights. I keep forgetting which is which when I need them!

Thanks Guys,
Mine is in the side panel and is a rocker switch by my left hand.
The funny thing is I don't remember if It was running or not when I tried it. Also, I was just thinking maybe it has to be in gear.....I'm not sure. Maybe someone with a rocker switch like mine will chime in.
I hope!

OK you all made me go look since I don't use mine. They work by putting park or headlights on then when you push the switch the roof marker lights front and rear and the center marker lights by the cargo boxes go out.

They do not light when lights are off and the key does not need to be on. It's an interrupter circuit.

My switch is on the left side of the steering well as well.

Im pretty sure Fleetwood sets them so only the front marker lights flash. Hitting the icc will not flash anything in the rear.

I believe JohnRR is is correct

On my coach the ICC switch DOES NOT turn the 5 upper rear red marker lights ON.... (they only illuminate when the parking lights or the headlights are ON).
Pressing the momentary ICC switch while the lights are ON turns the 5 red marker lights OFF .....(however pressing the ICC switch when the head lights/parking lights are OFF does nothing).

Like I said, and I agree with MEL, mine only flashes the front marker lights which means I cant thank a trucker after he signals me to move back into the lane. Kinda stinks. I think it should flash the back lights as well.

I just bought a 2005 Expedition and my rocker wouldn't actuate like it should, I couldn't push it all the way down so I took the switch apart and the copper contactor fell of it's plastic fixture. I repositioned the cooper contactor and put it back together and then the switch would actuate all the way and the wife says the back top red light flash now. Not sure how many lights, I didn't ask her. It may also be a be a fuse if not the switch. Yes lights have to be one, at least running lights.

Still working on Fog lights and Emergency Battery functions. I have the RV Custom Products BCC T/S procedures so as soon as it warms up I will investigate.

Good luck

Later
Dave

I need to check mine. I thought it flashed all the marker lights, front and back when headlights are turned on.

Hey Sims,
That would be great! Let me know......I am going to try a few things when I get back from AZ. I am sure at least the marker lights in the back are supposed to flash. I have no idea why ICC would flash the front marker lights....that makes no sense to me.
