intermitant starting engine problem

I have a 1999 fleetwood discovery 37v with a cummins 275 isb diesel engine..
I just changed all the house batteries and the 2 engine batteries.. The first time after the new batteries were installed, I turned the keys on as usual and it started right away with no problems... drove it for about 1 hour to my campground and shut it off... 5 days after, I wanted to start it and it did not start even do the batteries were good and it was cranking but would not start... finally waited an hour and tried again and it started as usual... I let it run for approx. 1 hour and shut it. Came back next day and started as usual...
I did not started for a couple of days and this friday went and tried to start it and again all the lights and the batteries were ok and the starter was cranking but it would not start. Next morning went back to the motor home and tried starting it and it started right away with no problems... drove it to freightliner so they can figure out what this intermitant problem is... they have not come back to me... A friend of mine said the problem my be my fuel valve solenoid gets stuck and doest not deliver fuel when starting... I have 2 questions: has anybody experienced this problem and where is the solenoid fuel valve located ?.. thanks

when it won't start check that the injector solenoid, and that it is turning the pump on. if your not fimilar with it find you injector pump and have your wife turn the key on and off. you should be able to see it move. you should be able to lift you bed, look on the passanger side of the motor. your injector pump has the 6 fuel lines comimg out of it running to the injectors. the solenoid mounts below it. if you can't get at it that way you might be able to get at it thru the last door on the passanger side. both of those work on my eagle.
