Is there a broken door hinge fix?

Mod, please feel free to move this if needed. My very well experienced 1996 Fleetwood Discovery MH has a broken upper door hinge. Should anyone think they may have a replacement, let me know and I'll send a pic to verify. If yours works, I'll be happy to remunerate you for the part and the shipping. I'll even send you a self-addressed postage paid pak in which to ship it to me. Use this link: http://www.irv2.com/forums/members/volunteer-34737.html or click on my forum name to find contact information. Thanks in advance for any help.

Parts

I ordered parts from REV (Fleetwood) and they have a Minimum purchase on an order or you have to pay like 25.00 even if you want a 5.00 part. I think I needed like a 12.00 part the rep suggested I might consider something that commonly breaks one being a storage door latch. He expressed if the latch broke the door would fly off and do lots more damage than the cost of a latch and how an extra would be a good thing to have in case. Well I was paying for it anyway so it did make since. Why pay 25.00 for a 12.00 part so I got the latch and another part that got me close to the Minimum and put the extras in my just in case box. I appreciated the input from the fleetwood rep and his suggestions. So you might try REV at the most it will cost 20-25 bucks and you can get something else you may need someday.

I am not sure if you found your hinge yet? I have a 2000 Discovery and my top hinge at the jam cracked and send the door into a air leaking poor closing mess. I found this guy that also owns a Discovery with the same problem. He redesigned the with aircraft alum and steel pins. I installed one and it fit perfect just ordered two more.

Good luck
