Isolator solenoid

I have a 1997 Bounder on a Ford chassis. Does nayone know where the isolator solenoid is located?

I believe your BCC ( battery control center ) is under the hood and the solenoid is in there.

2000 Storm

Hello,

I have a 2000 Storm 30H, pictured is the isolation relay, I just removed mine yesterday as it is not working. It was located in front (open the hood hatch) just to the right of the brake master cylinder, just above and between the MAIN and AUX disconnect relays. As you can see the previous owner had spray painted over the terminals to prevent corrosion and painted over the part number. If anyone know the part number I could use it as I need to order a replacement.

loulong - Thanks for the info on the relay, was looking at the 120-107112 relay also since it is rated at 14V, current draw on the coil is reduced by 1/4 amp also due to higher coil resistance. Just need to ground one coil terminal since it is not internally grounded. Anyone think of a reason why not to use it?

120-107112 - White Rodgers 120-107112 - Solenoid w/ Continuous Duty, Normally Open Continuous Contact Rating 100 Amps (14 VDC Isolated Coil)

They are both rated at only 100amps, so I don't see a problem in going with the 107112 from that standpoint. I'm not familiar with how the solenoid gets activated in the Storm and can't comment on that. Does the storm use any circuit board logic, like the BCC or BIRD function to close the solenoid for cross battery charging?

RSW1943, I didn't realize that your thread had been hijacked and didn't see the original question. The isolator solenoid is located in the BCC which is located on the firewall under the hood, just in front of the drivers position.

The BCC is a box labeled RV-Custom Products BCC. The isolator solenoid is the little silver one behind the circuit board. Here are the trouble shooting procedures and diagrams for your BCC.
