d-con claims to dry up the mouse and so no odor. B-S--perhaps if one mouse consumes the entire package?

Irish spring? I've had those quarter-bars in my mays for 3 years but I would be skeptical they are the reason we've had no rodents. I like Majoracing's idea of a controlled experiment in a fish bowl!

D-con can be dangerous not only to your own pets, but those around you. Some years ago a neighbor used it for a gopher problem. Problem gopher chose to die on our property and was found by our dog. We lost the dog.

I had mice in my coach at the storage yard. I put Tomcat bait traps OUTSIDE the coach for several weeks till the problem went away. I don't want the bait inside to attract more of the little fellas inside

Cucumbers. Plain old cucumber peelings. For you city folks [and the country ones that don't know] cucumber peelings smell almost exactly like a copperhead snake. . Any rodent is naturally repelled by the smell, as should you especially if you were to come across that smell in the yard or woods.
But don't believe me, do your own research-google it. I'm right.
And yes, you will have to replenish them every couple of days.
