Leaking Water Drain Valve - replacements?
Any ideas where to find these valves used for the cold and hot water drains? I've got one leaking under pressure and can't think of what you call the bulkhead mount style like this? Or where to get some new ones at.

I can't blow your picture up but they look like Brass Gate valves, If so parts should be available to reseal them.
Glenn has done some plumbing repairs, maybe he'll chime in.

"GATE" valve that's what I was needing, couldn't think of the name of that style valve. Thanks!

The gate valves and the compartment in which they are located is a problem for us when we try to winterize, or flush the system. The tags have crumbled leaving only a colored ring around them and the diagram shown in your picture is no longer visible in our compartment. Would it be possible for you to take a picture showing the tags as well as the diagram? This would be such a huge help since we are restoring this coach to its former glory and we have no idea in which configuration the valves are currently set. Thank you so much for any help you are able to provide. The book tells you to winterize and offers no diagrams, descriptions of the proper procedure or anything more than it will take approximately 5 gallons if you do not bypass the water heater. That is all it says. We have owned new motorhomes for the last 20 years and have never tried to restore a classic before. Ours were all Itascas class A's, and Jayco Super C's, this is the first Fleetwood coach we have ever had so we don't have a general working knowledge of Fleetwood coaches which leaves us in the dark about their signature features. Thanks again from the Chandlers. chand667@att.net

cabrikid behind the upper left panel, the one with four screws, there's two valves back there. See picture, the valve on the right normal running position is horizontal, winterize position is handle down.
What this does is let the pump suck antifreeze through the winterize port.

Replaced all three gate valves in the water bay this evening. Got it all buttoned up and find that the cold water drain still drips occasionally when there is pressure in the system. Seems to be sealed if the water pump hasn't built up pressure just fine.
Same dang problem the old cold water drain valve had, just not as bad.
I think I'm going to add ball valves to positively seal off those drains after the gate valves. At least no other leaks from the pex lines after working on all that, that's a plus.

Interesting, looks exactly like my bay (04 Rev) but mine are all 1/4 turn ball valves. No leaking.

I came real close to replacing the gate valves with ball valves initially, BUT kept thinking about vibration causing one to open up and draining the tank. Not likely I know, but possible.
