I have been visiting this site for awhile and have learned alot. I am hoping some of you can help me on this one I am really stuck.

The issue I am having is that if I am on more than a 1 1/2 grade left to right my rv wont level. I just put two new levelers on the back and still no better. Seems the pump is shutting it self of before its level. I have even blocked the levelers to make sure they are not out of throw. I checked for collapsed lines and made sure there is enough pressure and fluid. I think the pump is just reaching its shut off point before I level. I was told by power gear this is normal and there was nothing more I can do. I dont think this is correct there must be something that can correct this problem. Seems weird that only the back levelers are responsible for leveling the whole coach.

Any ideas I could try would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

When you blocked the jacks did it pick up any higher?

A power gear system should be able to handle much more than a 1.5" out of level condition.
My driveway, from the left front to the right rear, drops over a foot, and both my motorhome's powergear systems handled it fine.

My old pace arrow had a bad pump. the cavity where the impeller fit was worn a lot, allowing clearance between the impellor and the housing. The pump would spin, make all the right noises, the jacks would extend fine, but the system wasn't producing much pressure, and it couldn't actually lift the RV!

After horsing with powergear trying to get a replacement pump cheap, I found a complete power unit new on ebay for a few hundred buck. After that, the system would lift that pace arrow clear to the sky!

The system in my knight, the auto function really doesn't work worth a darn. it lifts too high, jacks in a weird order, and fails if the site is not pretty close to level. I reset the "level" in the system, no help.

I just use manual, works fine.

When I used the blocks I ran into the same problem. I dont think the jacks went any higher. It just made all the right noises with nothing happening. When in auto or manual the same thing happens.
